Summer Break 2009

Wow, where did the school year go? Mason had his up's and down's. I enjoyed my 3 classes at Mt. Sac and did very well. But as summer came on I stressed that Mason hadn't gotten his papers for summer school, I couldn't register for the summer classes I wanted, my divorce papers hadn't come in the mail yet and Bear has another ear infection-this time in both ears. Due to circumstances out of my control I had to pass up summer session for myself. But I faught and got Mason into summer school-he desperately needed Math. He has always aced math in NC, but with the move from there to CA things are really different. He just didn't understand 7th grade math at all and the wonderful school system moved him on to 8th grade math. Something had to be done or he wouldn't understand 8th grade math either. And before you ask, yes I got him a tutor, etc. So our summer is in full swing. I have tons of things to catch up on that I didn't get done during the school year. Oh yeah, and to top things off, someone tried to break into my truck the other day. Things are heating up, and I don't just mean the weather!
